This patented design is quite unique in that it offers a smaller diameter primary tube that starts at the engines exhaust port and later increases to a greater diameter at a specific distance from the cylinder head. Sport Mufflers

Powerloop Mufflers
This design has been patented by Supersprint Italy. It has been developed in effort to accommodate the limited available space while still adhering to the performance proven flow through technology of the Supersprint exhaust systems. This is how it works. The flow through resonated design requires the exhaust to travel through the resonated tube for a minimum distance for adequate noise cancellation. However many of the new vehicles are allowing limited space for muffler placement. With new lower sound decibel restrictions make it more difficult to bring vehicles to within legal limits. Supersprint's unique solution is, simply loop the exhaust through the silencer housing twice. This allows the exhaust to travel through the same silencer twice the distance in the same limited space. Although this design is very costly and difficult to produce, it is Supersprint's dedication to the performance proven flow through resonated design that makes this system a must.
